I'm going to tell you a story about a girl and you'll be able to see what the effects of verbal bullying can have. Let's say the girl's name is Maria. Someone started this awful rumour about her. She thought it was fine; she figured no one would know about it or if they did, they wouldn't believe it. But after no more than 2 days, everyone at Maria's school found out and started calling her very insulting names. Therefore, Maria was hurt and had very low self-confience. When people saw her, they gave her funny looks and would call her mean things. This went on far too long, so Maria cut herself.
Today, Maria is fine, but please be careful about what you say and what you do. You can easily make people feel useless, inferiour, ugly and so much worse! Not everyone will get over it, like Maria did.
